Trunk or Treat!
This past Saturday, our lot at Berman Subaru of Chicago was transformed into a friendly, festive Halloween wonderland for our first annual Trunk or Treat event! It was a fantastic afternoon filled with costumes, creatively decorated Subarus, and, of course, a ton of candy.
We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so memorable. Seeing all the amazing costumes, from adorable superheroes to cute sea creatures, and the sheer joy on the kids' faces was the best treat of all.

Fueling Futures!
At Berman Subaru, we believe that a strong community starts with a strong foundation, and there is no better place to build that than in our local schools. That’s why we are proud to announce our renewed partnership with Helge A Haugan Elementary School as part of the 2025 Subaru Loves Learning initiative.
Education is a journey, and every student deserves the right tools to succeed. Unfortunately, many teachers and families face significant challenges in securing even the most basic classroom essentials. This year, as part of Subaru's commitment to education, we are working with AdoptAClassroom.org to provide teachers at Haugan Elementary with the funding they need to purchase vital supplies and resources.
Through this initiative, we are not just providing pencils and paper; we are investing in the potential of every student. By equipping teachers with the resources they need, we help them create dynamic and engaging learning environments where curiosity can thrive. Our goal is to ensure that every student at Haugan Elementary has the support to be confident, prepared, and excited about their education.
This partnership is a testament to the Subaru Love Promise, our commitment to making a positive impact on the world around us. We are more than a car company; we are a community partner dedicated to empowering the next generation. Subaru Loves to Care 2025 - Swedish Covenant Hospital
At Berman Subaru of Chicago, caring for our community goes far beyond the showroom. That’s why we’re proud to share the story of our continued partnership with Swedish Covenant Hospital through the 2025 Subaru Loves to Care initiative.
This year, our team came together to donate warm blankets, socks, water bottles and handwritten messages of hope and encouragement to patients undergoing cancer treatment at Swedish Covenant Hospital. These small but meaningful gifts are part of our national partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS), aimed at bringing comfort and compassion to those facing the fight of their lives.
Every blanket we delivered carried more than warmth—it carried a message: You are not alone.
We had the privilege of meeting with hospital staff and patient care teams, who shared just how impactful these donations are for patients and families. For someone going through a difficult diagnosis, something as simple as a soft blanket and a kind note can offer a powerful reminder that their community stands behind them.
At Berman Subaru, we believe love is the most powerful force in the universe. And through Subaru’s Loves to Care initiative, we’re honored to help drive that love into the places that need it most—like the halls of Swedish Covenant Hospital.

Blooming Good News: Berman Subaru Gave Back to Chicago with 100 Free Trees!
Chicago got a little greener recently thanks to a wonderful initiative from Berman Subaru! Partnering with the esteemed Arbor Day Foundation, they brought a breath of fresh air – quite literally – to our beloved city by giving away 100 FREE trees, all native to the Chicago region. This inspiring act of environmental stewardship and community enrichment was a resounding success!
Residents had the opportunity to choose between a River Birch, Swamp White Oak, Baldcypress or the Black Tupelo to add their yards or neighborhoods. These aren't just any trees; they’re species carefully selected to thrive in our local climate and soil, providing vital benefits to our ecosystem. From supporting native wildlife and improving air quality to enhancing the beauty of our urban landscape, these trees are a gift that will continue to give for years to come.
Why Native Trees Mattered for Chicago:
Our region boasts a unique and diverse natural heritage, and native trees played a crucial role in maintaining this delicate balance. They are perfectly adapted to our weather patterns, require less water and maintenance once established, and provide essential food and shelter for local birds, insects, and other wildlife. By planting these native trees, Berman Subaru helped to:

We hosted a special giveaway event on April 26, 2025 right here in our showroom. It was a fantastic opportunity for Chicago residents to not only receive a beautiful native tree to plant but also to learn more about the importance of urban forestry and how they could contribute to a greener Chicago, all thanks to the Subaru Loves the Earth vision.
Chicagoans embraced this incredible opportunity to add a touch of nature to their lives and contribute to a more sustainable city, courtesy of Berman Subaru and the Arbor Day Foundation, all under the umbrella of Subaru Loves the Earth. Many residents came in, learned more, and took home their very own piece of Chicago's natural heritage! It was a collective effort to make our city even greener, one tree at a time, with the support of Subaru Loves the Earth.
The event was a success, and the 100 native trees are now finding their roots in our community, promising a greener future for Chicago.
