This year, thanks to the incredible support of our customers, we are thrilled to announce a donation of $49,460 to our hometown charity partner, Cara Collective.
A Morning of High Energy and Purpose
The partnership with Cara Collective is about more than just a check; it’s about a shared spirit. Recently, the Cara team visited us at the dealership to lead one of their legendary "Monday Motivation" rallies with our staff.
If you’ve never experienced a Cara Monday Motivation, it is an experience like no other. The room was filled with high-energy cheers, powerful personal stories, and an infectious sense of "Motivations" that left our team feeling inspired and ready to take on the week. Seeing their mission in action right on our showroom floor reminded us exactly why we are so proud to support their work in breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Chicago.
Real Work, Real Hope
For those who aren’t familiar with their vital mission, Cara Collective is a Chicago powerhouse dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness. By providing comprehensive job training, placement services, and a supportive community, they help individuals find more than just a paycheck. They help them find a path to lasting self-sufficiency and success.
This donation of nearly $50,000 represents hundreds of lives touched. It means more resources for career coaching, more support for those entering the workforce, and a stronger foundation for families across our city.
How We Got Here
The Subaru Share the Love Event is one of our favorite times of the year because it puts the power of giving directly into your hands. For every new Subaru purchased or leased during the event, Subaru and its retailers donate to national and local charities.
Because so many of you chose to shop local and support a cause close to home, we were able to maximize our impact for Cara Collective. Seeing our community rally together to support such a transformative organization is a reminder of why we love doing business in Chicago.
