New Subaru Outback Wilderness in Chicago

The Subaru Outback Wilderness Is Capable of a Lot
If you love the idea of driving a Subaru Outback around Chicago because of its strength, reliability and rugged style, you're not alone. The Outback has been popular amongst Harwood Heights customers for a long time. At Berman Subaru of Chicago, we're excited to tell you about the newest Outback trim for the 2022 model year. It's called the Wilderness, and it's equipped to take you almost anywhere, no matter what the conditions may be.
Like every Subaru model, the Wilderness has Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It also has many other components that give it some extra toughness. First of all, it has a higher ground clearance than the other SUVs in the lineup. It sits 9.5 inches off the ground, giving it plenty of room to clear obstacles. It has off-road wheels and all-terrain tires, and it features a re-tuned X-MODE®, too. With X-MODE®, Cicero drivers can choose drive modes like snow, sand and mud to get optimal traction on just about any terrain.
This model looks like it belongs out in the woods. It has a matte-black hood decal to reduce glare, and it has anodized copper finish in several places. The roof rails have been strengthened on the Wilderness so that Elmwood Park campers can use it for a rooftop tent while the SUV is stationary.
Inside the cabin, the seats are upholstered with StarTex® water-repellent upholstery, and the front headrests have the Wilderness logos embossed on them. Oak Park shoppers will find more anodized copper accents throughout the cabin, including on the steering wheel and gear shifter.
The Wilderness comes with high-tech features that are quite useful, including the EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology. In addition, the Outback Wilderness has a 11.6-inch touchscreen display with smartphone integration and SiriusXM® satellite radio.
